Preserving Wyoming Values:

Strong Families
Sensible Growth
Secure Borders

Biography

As a Wyoming graduate, but not a Wyoming native, I am one of an ever-growing number of adopted Wyomingites who have come to love this state as if I were born here. Wyoming is the place my husband Harlan and I have chosen to make our permanent home, to raise a family, and to one day enjoy our retirement. I want to work to ensure that it is a safe and prosperous place for all families to live, play and retire.

Amy’s Roots:

  • She was raised on her family’s farm in Nebraska, and graduated from a high school class of 12. “I understand the importance of small town life.”
  • Married to Harlan Edmonds. “My husband is a geologist and Wyoming is our playground.”
  • Graduate of UW, BA in Social Science. “What great educational opportunities Wyoming has for the young and old alike.”
  • Worked in the medical and insurance field for 10+ years. “Being a cancer survivor, I understand the importance of quality health care. Communities can’t survive without it. ”
  • Volunteer work for the Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra. “It’s important to be involved in your community; the arts are a vital part of our culture.”
